Why one would need 'good luck' first thing in the morning I would leave to your imagination. A very unusual American alarm clock from the 1930s.
I had considered sending the horseshoe style support for re-chroming but decided that it still looked great and should be left to indicate age and use. The clock and alarm mechanisms run well. Quite a weighty piece.
