A sought after gentleman's 1940's Gruen wristwatch from the innovative 'Veri-Thin' range, the cases being thinner toward the edges than the centre to give the watches a slimmer appearance, and this particular case design having fantastic knotted lugs. The original two-tone dial in good condition with gold toned hourly markers and quarterly Arabic numerals. Gruen calibre 416 15 jewel movement in good running order. A gloriously styled timepiece in very good, original condition.
