Very sought after Gruen doctor's watch from the 1940s. Doctor's watch? Well, if so described, they have a large, mostly red, sweeping second hand - for the purposes of checking one's pulse, but I am sure that they must have been worn by lay chaps as well. The sterling silver/gold filled bezel, dial, crystal and 15 jewel Swiss Gruen movement are in excellent condition. This is altogether a very handsome gentleman's day watch.
