Apologies to all who are familiar with this website (and to those have waded through search engines to find it), for the lack of any new additions to the stock of watches and clocks over the last year. My two brothers and I were diagnosed with prostate cancer within three months of each other some two years ago. Our experiences have differed considerably and I am very fortunate to have survived reasonably intact. My brothers are still undergoing treatment. After this experience I am left with three thoughts, firstly, what a wonderful, efficient, caring and effective institution the NHS is, secondly to emplore all men over 50 to check in with their GPs for the very simple and painless tests that will indicate the signs of this (if caught early enough) treatable cancer and thirdly my love and encouragement to my brothers.

ArtDecoWatches bring style to the market place, not showy representations of wealth. There may be the occasional famous name timepiece, but only if they fulfil our brief.

We offer a range of watches to suit all budgets – from £80 to £4000. From a gentleman’s Bulova 1940s day watch to a ladies platinum and diamond 1920s dress watch. If you have a specific watch in mind and don’t see it on our site, we will happily search our contacts and resources for you. You will also find other styles of watches, pocket watches and clocks on our site - as long as they are interesting.

All our watches are serviced and timed. Don't expect them to perform within a fraction of a second a day, like a modern quartz watch. Neither will they enjoy a scuba diving experience. But they will provide enjoyment and a reminder of an age when design pointed forward and represented the new age.

We have art deco clocks for the bedroom, for the study, kitchen and lounge. Anywhere where their stylishness and funcionality can be appreciated.

Safety legislation prevents us from selling clocks with their original movements if they are electric. Seventy year old clocks would never meet today’s safety standards. We replace old electric movements with the contemporary version, hopefully without compromising the appearance. Similarly, if a clock’s mechanical movement is beyond repair we will also replace that.
